During the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) final rally, dubbed the ‘Possibilities’ rally, Members of Parliament stepped into the spotlight, entertaining the crowd with lively dance moves as they were introduced on stage.
Among the standout moments was Lydia Seyram Alhassan’s energetic performance, which has resurfaced online after the NPP’s poor showing in the 2024 general elections. Donning a casual outfit of a T-shirt, white skirt, and sneakers, she captivated the audience with her bold execution of the Ghanaian ‘Gbohe’ dance, bending low with flair and enthusiasm. Her spirited moves drew cheers from the rally attendees at the time.
Now, with many NPP MPs, including Lydia Alhassan, losing their seats—hers to the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) John Dumelo—her dance has become the subject of viral discussions. Though it didn’t attract much attention initially, the clip has since gained traction as netizens revel in the party’s electoral setback.
