In an interview with Angel FM’s Ike De Unpredictable, Stonebwoy, the leader of Bhim Nation, shared how pivotal figures in the music industry helped shape his career. He began by recalling his early years, explaining how his passion for music started while he was in his third year of senior high school.
Reflecting on his first encounter with Samini, Stonebwoy said, “I was just a schoolboy, trying to balance my education with my love for music. Meeting Samini was a turning point. He saw something in me and welcomed me into his camp. That moment changed my life forever.”
Before meeting Samini, Stonebwoy acknowledged the influence of Afro Moses and producer Quick Action, who played crucial roles in his early development. “Afro Moses and Quick Action were among the first to believe in me. They recognised my potential and gave me opportunities that not only boosted my confidence but also opened doors in the industry,” he revealed.
He went on to express his deep gratitude for Samini’s mentorship, stating, “Samini didn’t just offer me support; he brought me into his world and gave me a platform to grow. That’s something I’ll always be grateful for.”
