A video circulating on social media captures billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk reacting to a speech by Julius Malema, the leader of South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
In the footage, Malema is heard making a bold statement, asserting that “These people, when you want to hit them hard, go after a white man. They feel terrible pain because you have touched a white man. We’re cutting the throat of whiteness. We will kill white women, children, and their pets,” he said.
Elon Musk, visibly displeased with Malema’s comments, called for action against the politician. Taking to social media, Musk stated, “This genocidal lunatic is the leader of a significant political party in the South African parliament.” He further suggested that sanctions should be imposed on Malema for making such statements.
