A video circulating on social media captures the Minority in Parliament angrily protesting what they describe as unfair treatment.
Minority Leader, Afenyo-Markin, stood tall among his colleagues as he voiced his dissatisfaction with Speaker Bernard Ahiafor, who was presiding over proceedings in the absence of the main Speaker, Alban Bagbin. Afenyo-Markin expressed concerns about how Ahiafor was running the House.
In the widely shared video, Bernard Ahiafor is seen allowing his colleagues from the Majority to dominate the debate on the floor while allegedly denying New Patriotic Party (NPP) members the opportunity to voice their concerns.
Reacting to the situation, Afenyo-Markin stood up in protest, repeatedly stating, “This is unfair! This is unfair!”
The video has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions from netizens.
