Public Relations Officer for Burniton Music Group (BMG), Vida Adutwuwaa, has stated that despite receiving several apologies relayed through third parties regarding DJ Lord’s recent allegations, the camp still expects a direct and respectful apology from the DJ himself.
On April 1, 2025, DJ Lord alleged via a series of tweets that during his performance at the recent Accravaganza, an event official informed him that Stonebwoy’s team had taken issue with his decision to play multiple Shatta Wale tracks, reportedly requesting that he stop.
However, Stonebwoy’s manager, Chief Stylz, swiftly debunked the claims, describing them as “false accusations.”
Following the incident, Adutwuwaa gave DJ Lord a 24-hour ultimatum to substantiate his statements or risk facing legal action.
In an interview on Onua Showbiz on April 5, 2025, she confirmed that while several intermediaries have attempted to make amends on DJ Lord’s behalf, the team has yet to reach a resolution.
“We’ve received a lot of apologies on behalf of DJ Lord, but the team is considering these apologies. We are waiting to see if he will be magnanimous enough to apologize for his actions,” she noted.
Adutwuwaa made it clear that a lack of direct accountability could lead to legal steps being taken.
“If he does not apologize, he will hear from us. We’re expecting him to take action, if not, we will take ours,” she warned.
