Gospel musician Isaac Kwadwo Ampong, widely known as Great Ampong, has expressed his willingness to personally apologize to former President John Dramani Mahama.
Despite recently releasing a song titled Apology, the singer stated that he is open to taking further steps to seek forgiveness if given the opportunity.
“I believe President Mahama will hear my song, but if I get the chance to meet him in person, I will gladly apologize,” he shared, as reported by MyNewsGh.com.
Ampong acknowledged that accessing the former president would require proper arrangements. “To visit him at the Jubilee House, you need someone to facilitate the meeting. You can’t just walk in unannounced—it wouldn’t be the right approach,” he noted.
The gospel musician also referenced dancehall star Shatta Wale, who publicly knelt to apologize to Mahama before the 2024 elections.
“If the opportunity arises, I have no issue rendering an apology in person, even if it means kneeling before him,” Ampong told Amansan Krakye on Property FM.
