Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has issued a stern warning against any attempts to overthrow the incoming administration of President-elect John Mahama. Addressing his congregation on Sunday, December 15, 2024, the renowned clergyman cautioned those harboring such intentions to reconsider, asserting that such plans are doomed to fail under God’s protection.
Speaking as a spiritual leader, Prophet Owusu-Bempah expressed his readiness to expose anyone involved in treasonable activities, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the nation’s stability. He attributed divine favor to President-elect Mahama’s humility and warned against disrupting the incoming government’s efforts to rebuild the nation.
“It is very dangerous to lead a group to stage a coup d’état. Nobody should attempt to overthrow the incoming Mahama government because, both physically and spiritually, God’s protection is upon that administration due to President-elect Mahama’s humility. Don’t try, because you will never succeed. The moment you plan, we will pick up the phone and alert the relevant authorities. We may be in our homes, but we know and see everything happening in this nation,” he declared.
The Apostle underscored the need to grant the new administration the freedom to implement its plans to address the country’s challenges. He urged Ghanaians to remain prayerful and support the leadership tasked with steering the nation back on course.
