The Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale recently addressed the surge in admiration he’s receiving from female fans. In an appearance on TV3, Basintale shared that he is already in a committed relationship and while he’s aware of the attention from women, there is little he can do to stop it.
He mentioned that he has come across social media users referring to themselves as “Mrs. Basintale” or “The Basintale Lady,” expressions of their affection for him. During the live broadcast, several women called in, openly professing their admiration.
“I go on TikTok and see people calling themselves ‘Mrs. Basintale’ or ‘The Basintale Lady. Please, I am taken. Leave me in peace,” he stated, as he discussed matters related to post-election developments and the NDC’s future.
Known for his bold personality and confidence, Basintale has gained a strong following, especially among women. His striking appearance and charismatic nature have made him a prominent figure online, where his stylish motorbike rides have further fueled his popularity.
