Aspiring Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has called out his opponent, Lydia Alhassan, for allegedly attempting to sway voters through the distribution of gifts.
In a media interview with Joy News, Dumelo expressed his displeasure with what he described as unethical conduct, urging his opponent to uphold integrity in the ongoing election process.
“Why are you giving gifts to voters standing in the queue? We know what you are doing. Who do you think you are smarter than? Please do the right thing; we are not stupid,” Dumelo remarked.
The actor-turned-politician emphasized the importance of fair play and transparency, reminding all candidates to respect the electorate and the sanctity of the democratic process.
