A circulating video on social media shows Minority Leader Afenyo-Markin sharing a lighthearted moment with former President Akufo-Addo.
The Effutu MP was seen swaying to the solemn melodies of hymns during a church service, visibly engaged in the worship atmosphere.
Seated nearby was Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations, who was captured whispering something into his ear.
They attended the funeral of Simon Sonia Puli, a former Ambassador to Angola under the late President Jerry John Rawlings during his final term in office.
