Reports have emerged detailing how seasoned broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii sustained eye injuries from gunpowder residue during a shooting incident. A video that surfaced on January 22, 2025, and shared on Kofi TV sheds light on the dramatic event.
The footage captures Kofi Adomah moments before the mishap, holding a camera to document the arrival of the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II. Amid the ceremonial activities, a bodyguard of the Dormaahene raised a rifle and fired shots at close range. Kofi, standing nearby, was caught in the aftermath, prompting him to cry out in pain, clutching his face. Smoke filled the air as he shouted repeatedly, “Jesus, Jesus!” while attempting to protect himself.
News of the incident initially broke through journalist Afia Pokuaa on January 15, 2025. Later, Kofi Adomah’s wife, Miracle Adomah, addressed the public, confirming her husband’s injuries but reassuring everyone that he is in stable condition and undergoing treatment in Dubai.
