Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has urged fans not to lose hope during this crucial moment in the season.
In a Twitter post shared by Fabrizio Romano, Walker acknowledged the club’s recent struggles but assured supporters that the team will bounce back.
“We know our recent performances haven’t been up to the standard we expect, and we understand it’s been tough. But we’ve been through challenges like this before, together, and we’ll get through this one as well. It’s important that we all stay united as one club, as Manchester City, during this difficult time. Your support, whether in the good times or the hard moments, means everything to us.”
Walker reminded fans of the club’s resilience, highlighting their past achievements: “We’ve won titles in the final games of the season, and we’ve made history with a record-breaking 100-point campaign, right down to the last kick. Time and time again, we’ve shown that we can rise to the challenge, and we will do so again. I promise you, we’ll fight until the very end.”
Manchester City has struggled in their last six Premier League matches, and although Pep Guardiola has yet to secure a win in the title chase, the manager remains confident that things will turn around.
